The artist Mitchell Bunton-Douglas was born in Louisville, KY and received his undergraduate degree in art history and visual studies from the University of Kentucky. His unique conceptual approach to art making is the result of a dual dedication to artistic philosophy and fine object making. His practice is attempting to provide answers to our collective existential quandaries. Mitchell also studied at the Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy and has exhibited work domestically as well as internationally most recently at Holy Art Gallery London 2024. After earning acceptance into a post baccalaureate program at Columbia University in the summer of 2025, Bunton-Douglas moved to Brooklyn, NY where he currently works and resides.
